Major Rookie Team Wins Barrie Tournament

The Barrie Red Sox Major Rookie team took to the field on Friday with a win over a tough opponent in Whitby by a score of 18-14. On Saturday the team had a 1 and 1 record to qualify for the Semi Finals on Sunday. With a terrific defensive approach, the Red Sox were able to pull out a win over Thornhill Reds by a score of 15-3. We then faced the Pickering Red Sox in the Championship game. With Home Field advantage and the drive of a champion, the Barrie Red Sox pushed hard to a decisive 19-6 win. Very proud of the boys approach to these games and their fierce drive to win the tournament. Great job Barrie!
