Mosquito AA Team wins Cambridge Toyota Tykes Tournament

The Barrie Mosquito AA Team competed in the Cambridge Toyota Tykes 25th anniversary baseball tournament on the weekend and were successful in sweeping the event, with four shutouts and only five runs scored against them in all five games.
The final game was against Brantford Red Sox and it came down to a pitchers duel. Barrie was lead by starting pitcher Caleb Clark (MVP) followed by closing pitcher, Alex Maxamenko secured the win with his heat.
A solid performance by all 12 players with a final score of 3-0 for Barrie. The boys were happy to bring the Toyota Tyke Cup home.
