Minor Midgets Take Guelph Tournament Championship

The Barrie 400 Flea Market Minor Midget AA team took the Guelph Rival Series Tournament championship on June 25 in convincing fashion beating out 15 other teams.  Barrie got contributions from all players throughout the tournament. The Pickering Red Sox, Mississauga Twins, Royal York Cardinals and Vaughan Vikings all fell victim to the Red Sox. In the final, Barrie defeated the Thornhill Reds handily 18-3 for the championship.

Players are Matthew Barr, Jonathan Balah, Kyle Breedon, Liam Clarke, Jeremy Cryer, Noah Calvert-Goetz, Braedon DeGrace, Zack Knapper, Jan Siembida, Bryan Slade, Lucas Shepherd, Shayne Twiss, Owen Teague.  Coaches Jeff Barr, Steve Twiss, John Clarke and Gary Charters.
