More Baseball is Back...

In combination with the results of our recent survey and devotion to the safety of everyone involved, the Barrie Minor Baseball Association has approved moving forward with an outdoor clinic-based program for ages 4U-13U (following assigned season birth year divisions).  We thank those who participated in the survey and look forward to providing our house league members a shortened but meaningful baseball experience.

The clinics will be managed by trained BMBA rep/select coaches.  This is a unique opportunity for current and potential house league coaches to learn some basic, essential drills for house league player development and ask questions about managing a team.  Historically, obtaining house league coaches has been difficult.  We would like this to be an opportunity for not only player development, but coach development also.  

Program Details:

• 4-week program beginning the week of August 10
• Sessions will run 90 minutes, from 6:00-7:30 pm 
• Sessions will be broken into age groups 4U-6U (T-Ball), 7U-9U (Coach Pitch/Rookie) and 10U-13U (Mosquito/Peewee). The focus will be on high repetitions for basic skills, throwing, fielding, running, and hitting.

• • Monday’s 7U-9U
  • Tuesday’s 4U-6U
  • Thursday’s 10U-13U 

• Cost for all age groups is $90.00 per player, which includes a t-shirt.  Size to be selected during registration.
• Registration will be capped at 48 per age group, with a maximum of 24 players per session.
• Registration deadline is Thursday August 6, 2020
