Barrie Minor Bantam Red Sox take hometown Barrie Tournament Championship
The Barrie Minor Bantam Red Sox AAA team is on quite a roll as they took their 3rd tournament victory of the season with a decisive 11-1 mercy of the Oakville A's in the final.
Barrie played a tight game in the opener Friday night beating Oakville 4-2. Saturday morning Barrie faced their neighbors to the south in the Innisfil Cardinals taking them 12-5. Burlington was next in a one sided 15-1 win.
Sunday morning saw Barrie face Guelph for the 3rd time this season with Barrie coming out on top once again 11-2. This set up a second game vs Oakville in the final with Barrie too much for the A's.
Great weekend of baseball all round.
